Reverse Confetti Blog Hop {it's Release Day}

It’s a new year, and what could be better than to start it off with a brand new shiny release from REVERSE CONFETTI?!

Love is definitely in the air with the 6 new stamp sets (including our new QuirkyCuties line) and 3 new Confetti Cuts Dies.  We invite you to hop along with the Confetti Crew, Challenge Crew, and a few other friends today as we share our cards and projects using the new products.  We think you’ll fall in love over and over with this release!

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog, and you should have made it here from Laurie Willison’s blog. It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing. We have tons of inspiration for you to see using all the new Reverse Confetti stamp sets!
Let's kick off this hop with a little something sweet. I used the previously released Sweet Treat Tent die to hold a little packet of conversation hearts. I dressed it up with a Tag Me  large tag. Those pretty insulation pink hearts are from Love Notes Confetti Cuts

Along the bottom, I embossed a few rows of Whole Lotta Hearts stamps. This is one awesome border/background set. You'll LOVE it!

I did a little spotlight stamping with the heart dies, Inspired by Amy Kolling. I stamped the sentiments from Sweet Thing in Steel Grey ink on the grey tag and then again over top of the die cut hearts. I think lined up the hearts to match the stamping on the tag. It's such a fun technique that packs a visual punch! Twine and sequins finish off this sweet little goodie.

Speaking of being inspired by krafty friends. This card was totally inspired by Karen Giron. I loved her combo on this card. I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch on this one, too.

This one is chuck full of Reverse Confetti goodness. The teeny scallops (which I folded up a bit for added dimension) are from the Double Edge Scallop die. I stamped my favorite hearts from Whole Lotta Hearts on the Insulation Pink strip.

 Along the bottom I tucked in the small tag from Tag Me and topped it with the large heart from Love Notes and a Sno Cone Arrow die

Want to give the illusion that the arrow is a bit longer than it actually is?? Simply snip it in half and hide the cut ends behind a die cut heart.

The sentiment is from the oh-so-fun stamp set, Crushin'! It's stamped on the scallop frame from Love Notes and I added a trail of floating hearts from the same Confetti Cuts die set.

 One final card for today's release hop uses the gorgeous Paper Crane set. I had yet to use the actual Paper Crane image, so I made sure to create something for the hop with it.

It's perfect for CAS style of cards (ALL styles, really). I stitched around some Kraft cs and added the paper crane just above the sentiment. It's popped up with some dimensionals to give the illusion that it is flying or floating. I am diggin' the little arrow borders included with the set.

It's hard to choose which sentiment from Paper Crane to use. They really are all so inspirational.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today. Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of EVERY MONTH for more REVERSE CONFETTI inspiration! Now it’s time to hop on over to Val’s blog

If you get lost along the way, you can find the hop order and list of all the participating designers over on the Reverse Confetti blog.

A few things before you hop along though, just to keep you “in the know”…
