Unity- Boys Rule with Dinged Dots

It's Thursday....boy did that CREEP up on me. I guess that happens when Monday is a holiday. But I'm fine with that.
Thanks for joining me and the Unity team for our hip hop. We have MORE new stamps to show off. Check out the Unity Stamp Co. site for the latest and greatest!!!

I mixed a bit of old with new and I have to say I am sooo, so happy with how my page turned out. I have been trying a new size to scrap in. It's 6x12 and it is going in my Project Life album.  I had this one random picture of the boys playing one last game of 500 in the backyard this summer. This size page was a great fit for my 1, lone Instagram picture.

I used the pretty new backgroungs, by Liz Hicks. It's  called Dinged Dots.

I actually stamped it with Picket Fences Distress ink. Just be sure to wash your stamp IMMEDIATELY!!! I love the grungy look it gives this boy page.

I also used the Boys Rule set to add some sweet little accents.

I stamped them in MFT Black Licorice Ink and then sponged on some distress ink along the edges. I also stamped a few pretty washi tape strips to add, "just a little bit more" to the edges of my page. You can find this stamp set, HERE. It's called, A Little Bit Washi.

Robyn is up next.

If you get lost along the way....stop back at the Unity Blog for all the details.

I like your layout. To me, it is very appropriate for a picture of boys. The details are just as playful "rough" on the edges as boys need to be when playing together.

That looks so cool - love how you used distress paint with the stamp, totally grungy! (I have no boys, so I'm not really familiar with "grunge" haha)
